Frankly Speaking ........Now!
Call to Battle

A call to battle, that hopefully will inspire you to do battle no matter what the odds look like! I remember a story found in 2 Kings where the city was surrounded by a great army of chariots, horses and soldiers.  It was massive and overwhelming to see such a force and they were greatly outnumbered!  BUT the man of God, Elisha, made a statement, "Don't be afraid....those that are with us are more than whose who are with them."  Elisha was "seeing" something the others didn't....He was seeing what God was doing "behind the scenes" for their behalf.  He asked God to open up the eyes of his servant so that he could see, also!  The Lord opened the servants eyes, and he saw that the hills were full of horses and chariots of fire...the army of the Lord!!  May we see that God is also working on our behalf and wants us to succeed in all that He has called us to do!

"For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realm."  Ephesians 6:12.

"If God be for us...who can be against us?"  Rom 8:31.

"We are more than conquerors through Him that loves us."  Rom 8:37.

"We can do all things through Christ who strengthens us."

Dilios' (David Wenham) stirring motivational speech to his Spartan warriors before the Battle of Plataea: ("Long I pondered my King's cryptic talk of victory. Time has proven him wise. For from free Greek to free Greek, the word was spread that bold Leonidas and his 300, so far from home, laid down their lives; not just for Sparta, but for all Greece and the promise this country holds. Now, here on this ragged patch of earth called Plataea, let his hordes face obliteration! Just there the barbarians huddle, sheer terror gripping tight their hearts with icy fingers - knowing full well what merciless horrors they suffered at the swords and spears of 300. Yet they stare now across the plain at 10,000 Spartans commanding 30,000 free Greeks!...The enemy outnumber us a paltry 3 to 1, good odds for any Greek. This day, we rescue a world from mysticism and tyranny and usher in a future brighter than anything we can imagine. Give thanks, men, to Leonidas and the brave 300. TO VICTORY!")
