Frankly Speaking ........Now!
Fight for your Freedom!

                     Fight for your Freedom!

I always think about how blessed we are and the price others have paid for our freedom.  Somehow, missing the opportunity to be in military service, I do not fully understand the sacrifices so many made to keep this the “land of the free!” Thank all of you for the liberty we now enjoy!

One thing I do understand is that we continually need to fight for our personal freedom.  There are so many addictions, habits and time wasters, including the internet, new technology and even email that steal so much of our quality time with our friends, family and God. It is a continual struggle to keep finding the balance that keeps us in the driver’s seat.  Instead, we find ourselves being controlled by all the “extremes” we have allowed in our lives and find they have monopolized our time, energy and even become a barrier in our relationship with the Lord. We need freedom from them ALL!

Others face a bombardment of negativity towards anything they attempt to do “outside the box.” Have you noticed how many of your peers like you living in the “land of ordinary?”  They are “dream stealers” and continue trying to stop you from attaining your best.  Maybe it is because each time you move out of the comfort zone, they are fearful they may have to do the same. We need freedom from what these people think of us and the damage their words have done, so that we can continue to move ahead in all the things we envision!

We all have a plan and a purpose for our lives and have been given different talents and gifts.  The motivation to reach your destiny is the God given homing device He has placed in each of us.  It is the driving force that gives us the strength to go forward when everything yells at us to stop.  “We can do all things through Christ who gives us the strength,” says Phil 4:13.  Let’s walk in ALL the freedom that God has given!

No matter what situation you face….keep going forward.  Continue to be persistent in what you believe and keep striving to obtain the desires of your heart. As you find your delight in the Lord, He will give you those dreams. “With God, all things are truly possible to every one who will continue to believe,” we read in Mark 9:23. He truly came to give us life more abundantly. We can continue to trust Him fully. “Thank you Lord for the freedom you give as you lead us and teach us to walk closer with you!”

Yes, Jesus paid the price for our freedom. He gave His life so that we could live forever when we accept Him as our Lord and Saviour.  He paid the ransom required for our freedom from sin with His precious blood.  Jesus is still the same. He has not changed and He is still giving freedom today!  This is best seen in what He said  about himself in Luke 4:18, ”The Spirit of the Lord is on me, because he has anointed me to proclaim good news to the poor.  He has sent me to proclaim freedom for the prisoners and recovery of sight for the blind, to set the oppressed free, to proclaim the year of the Lord’s favor.”

In what areas do you need freedom?  Let this be the season  for your “Independence!” Let all your requests be made known unto Him, for whoever Jesus sets free, is free indeed! Remember, God cares for you and wants to supply ALL your need according to His riches in glory, by Christ Jesus! Happy Freedom Day!

Believing the best in you,

-Frank-
