Frankly Speaking ........Now!

God is with you Always!

The Lord Stands with You!

Dear Friend,

The Lord has stirred my heart to write you again.  I find it a privilege and an honor.  Although we have never met face to face, I feel as if I know you in the “Spirit” of our living God!  God has truly “knitted” our hearts through prayer, concern and necessity.

It is expedient that we continue to lift each other and our concerns unto the Lord.   We will continue to find that He is faithful.   We will continue to find Him trustworthy.   We will continue to find Him a very present help in times of trouble.   He is a “now” God with eternal purpose AND our momentary light afflictions are producing eternal glory.

Although we may not understand all that is happening around us, we understand that God’s ways and thoughts are higher than ours.  He sees from a different perspective...It is an eternal one!  Yes, He is more concerned about eternal purposes and outcomes than in the temporary discomforts and circumstances we find ourselves.

1 Corinthians 4:18

“While we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen...for the things which are seen are temporary, but the things which are not seen are eternal.”

We tend to let the temporary circumstances block our eternal views.  They become smoke screens that cloud our view of the truth.   They are as mirages in the desert.   They are counterfeits that come to replace the real.   They are the fiery darts of the enemy.  They are the bombs that continue to drop with no relief.  They are storms that go away.

1 Peter 4:12-13
Beloved, do not think it strange concerning the fiery trial which is to try you, as though some strange thing happened to you; but rejoice to the extent that you partake of Christ’s sufferings, that when His glory is revealed, you may also be glad with exceeding joy.

1 Peter 5:6-10

Therefore humble yourselves under the mighty hand of God, that He may exalt you in due time, casting all your care upon Him, for He cares for you. Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil walks about like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour. Resist him, steadfast in the faith, knowing that the same sufferings are experienced by your brotherhood in the world. May the God of all grace, who called us to His eternal glory by Christ Jesus, after you have suffered a while, perfect, establish, strengthen, and settle you.

My friend, think it not strange what is going on.  You can rest assured that everything you are facing right now is “Father filtered”!   It has not caught Him by surprise.  He still knows where you live.   He has seen your tears.    He has felt your pain.   He shares your sorrows and your grief.   He has never left you and never will.  He is with you always. He will see you through every situation. Keep standing and resisting. Trust God in all things!

Isaiah 53:4-5
Surely He has borne our grief and carried our sorrows; Yet we esteemed Him stricken, Smitten by God, and afflicted. He was wounded for our transgressions, He was bruised for our iniquities; the chastisement for our peace was upon Him, and by His stripes we are healed.

Thank you, Lord, for bearing our grief and our sorrows.   Thank you that we find healing in You Lord!!  Thank you for peace that passes all understanding!

2 Timothy 4:16-17

At my first defense no one stood with me, but all forsook me. May it not be charged against them. But the Lord stood with me and strengthened me, so that the message might be preached fully through me, and that all the Gentiles might hear. Also I was delivered out of the mouth of the lion.

This is one of my favorite scriptures.  It’s a testimony for me. There are so many things I’ve gone through in my life.  I have had it “all” and lost it, temporarily, through disobedience, wrong choices and sin. Many other times, through no fault of mine own, I have had similar outcomes that I might be perfected!   Through each circumstance, though many forsook me because they didn’t understand, or know what to say, He stood by me and was never embarrassed.  He loved me in spite of what had happened or what I was going though.  He never leaves us or forsakes us.  He is with us always! He’s faithful!

The Lord is standing with you now!  Even though it may not “feel” like it, or “look” like it, the Lord is standing with you and strengthening you.  He is delivering you out of the enemy’s mouth!  Remember the above verse, 1 Peter 5; keep resisting and keep standing. You are being perfected and completed…an eternal purpose!

It is as a strengthening through the “resistance” of weights.  I have lifted weights for years.  As the weight or resistance is increased, I become stronger and able to do more and more. You are under “much weight” right now and it is making you stronger. You are being prepared for the things that are ahead.

God loves you enough to allow you to go through these times to be able to face what is ahead.   He is increasing your platform to impart the anointing and faith that you have received during these times.   There are so many that need that which you are receiving during this season!

See the things that are ahead.   Set your eyes upon those things.   God has called you and others as a team.  You walk in faith and will increase other’s faith because of what you are facing and going through now!   You are being prepared for the things ahead, with the opportunities of the present giving you a “taste” and a “sip” of what is ahead.

Paul had to keep the goal before him.  He “pressed” forward and reached unto those things which were ahead.  He pushed to see those things birthed in his life.  Jesus endured the cross for the joy that was set before Him.  He saw beyond the cross.  His vision reached as far as needed to “see” with eyes of faith the things His sufferings, shedding of blood and resurrection would produce.

Hebrews 12:1-3

Therefore we also, since we are surrounded by so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which so easily ensnares us, and let us run with endurance the race that is set before us, looking unto Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith, who for the joy that was set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame, and has sat down at the right hand of the throne of God. For consider Him who endured such hostility from sinners against Himself, lest you become weary and discouraged in your souls.

Hebrews 2:10
God is the One who made all things, and all things are for his glory. He wanted to have many children share his glory, so he made the One who leads people to salvation perfect through suffering.

Jesus was also perfected by the things that He suffered and endured.  That is why He can understand and show compassion when we endure the same things.  He truly is the author and the finisher of our faith!!  He WILL see you through!

We continue to walk by faith…..not by sight!!!

Believing the best…with you,
