Frankly Speaking ........Now!
Making Room, too

Now it came to pass, as they went, that he entered into a certain village: and a certain woman named Martha received and welcomed him into her house.  Luke 10:38
Martha made room for Him.........................

But Martha [overly occupied and too busy] was distracted with much serving; and came to him, and said, Lord, do you not care that my sister has left me to serve alone? Tell her then to help me [to lend a hand and do her part along with me]!
Luke 10:40

What was her sister doing?

And she had a sister named Mary, who seated herself at the Lord's feet and was listening to His teaching.
Luke 10:39

Mary was making room in her schedule for Jesus.  He was more important than anything else in her life. She realized the opportunity might not come again. Jesus was at her house now and she was going to receive the full benefit of him being there.

What did Jesus think?

And Jesus answered and said unto her, Martha, Martha, you are anxious and troubled about many things:  Luke 10:41

Martha had made room by inviting Jesus into her house, but  she did not know how precious the visitation was.  Jesus never leaves us or forsakes us.  He is with us always, Heb 13:5, but do we cherish and receive all the benefit of the Lord's goodness.

There is only one thing that is needful and necessary; and Mary hath chosen that good part, which shall not be taken away from her. Luke 10:42

Mary took advantage of the time of her visitation....

Let's challenge ourselves to do the same.  The Lord has made himself more accessible than anytime in history. Just take your pick;  whether it is on the internet, on television, in a book, listening to a cd,  watching a dvd or video, you will find His message being proclaimed in some fashion.  He will talk to us about any subject and loves to listen when we pray.  He is ready to help and give us direction any moment we need it.  If we seek the Lord with ALL our hearts, we will find Him, Jer 29:13.

It is easier than ever to find a great church that is designed just for you.  Maybe you would be more comfortable in a Baptist church, or it could be a Methodist church.  If that doesn't suit you, maybe a Pentecostal, Non-denominational or Full Gospel one will do.  There is an early morning service or Saturday night service in addition to all the traditional ones.  If you don't like traditional services, there are contemporary or blended ones.  I could go on, but I think you see what I am saying.  There are no excuses except for us to just make time and do it!  The rewards and blessings that come as a result will be worth your effort.  Today, let's decide to "make room" in our busy schedules and "spend time" with the Lord!

Continuing to believe the best in you,
